Inquiry hub (iHub)
I worked closely with a team of learning scientists at CU Boulder’s Institute of Cognitive Science (ICS) to co-design an adaptable, iterative, and functional design system of icons, document templates, and multi-level organization all in Google Drive.
The end result is a cohesive, recognizable, well-organized, and highly functional collection of hundreds of both teacher facing and student facing documents. The curriculum design team needed the end products to be able to be added and iterated upon by multiple members of their team as well as to be easily adapted by teachers and districts to fit their specific needs. All of this meant getting creative within the constraints of Google Drive and using documents to mimic more advanced web based platforms in terms of usability, hierarchy, and navigation.
